Summary
Popcorn is a snack food made by heating certain kinds of corn. There is a small amount of water inside the seeds, which causes them to explode. When the seed shell breaks a sharp noise is made. The name "pop" is because of this noise.

Instructions
Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Immediately add 3-4 kernels and superfine salt. When these test kernels pop, add the rest and cover, shaking frequently. Vent the lid ever so often to release steam while continuing to shake. When popping slows to one pop per second, remove from heat and vent. Eat immediately by yourself and don’t share any of it. I only wanted to include recipe because I love popcorn so much.
- 2T coconut oil or ghee
- ½ superfine salt
- ¼ C popcorn
